Short version: joining the list reserves your place and your discount. It isn't a purchase, and nothing is charged until you've spoken to us.
What joining the list means
You're telling us you'd like to order when pre-orders open. It isn't an order, a contract, or a payment. Nothing is reserved in the kitchen until we speak to you and you confirm what you want.
The discount
- 50% off your first order, up to $25 off. On a $40 order you'd save $20. On a $70 order you'd save $25, not $35.
- It applies once, to your first order only.
- We apply it when we confirm your order on the phone — there's no code to enter.
- It isn't transferable and can't be swapped for cash.
- It can't be combined with another offer unless we say so.
- One discount per person and per household.
Timing
We don't have a firm opening date yet. We'll contact you as soon as we do. If plans change we'll tell you rather than leave you waiting.
Where the food is made
Our cupcakes are made in a shared commercial kitchen. They may come into contact with milk, eggs, wheat, soy and tree nuts. If you have an allergy, tell us when we call and we'll be straight with you about whether we can safely fill your order.
Cancelling
You can leave the list at any time — reply to any email from us or write to athingtotalkabout@gmail.com and we'll remove you. We can also close the list or end the offer, in which case we'll let everyone on it know.
